A downloadable icon pack

What is this?

created in Community is a phrase, the name of this page, a logo and corresponding wordmark, a momevent and probably many more things…

During the Build a Better World TTRPG jam a comment over on The Lost Bay server sparked the search for a logo to elevate community-driven design and cooperation. After countless doodles, sleepless nights and fruitful conversations with The Lost Bay's lovely denizens and the wonderful folks sailing aboard the Barcosa, this icon pack encompasses a growing number of logo variations for most game-focused projects (and beyond), each a specific emblem surrounded by four interlocking arms.

If you ever feel there's something missing, don't hesitate to drop your suggestions for new emblems down in the comments. I might take my time but I'll definitely give it a try.

How do I use this?

  1. Choose the variant that best fits your project.
(Or stick with the main Cc logo.)
  2. Modify it as you please to match your own style. Go wild! (Or leave it as is.)
  3. Put it somewhere on or inside your finished work, its store page or wherever else you’d want folks to see it
.
  4. See this „exercise“ as a reminder to reflect on all the many ways your communities have influenced and helped you with this project
. Then consider adding relevant acknowledgements/credits where you see fit.

…speaking of which…

Acknowledgements

  • This icon pack, obviously, wouldn't exist without of HINOKODO's visionary Human Made. Thanks for your efforts in standing up for the TTRPG community (and creatives in all fields) and for the inspiration.
  • Thanks again to everyone who gave me feedback on The Lost Bay and the Barcosa servers.
  • Everything here was created in Procreate and Affinity Publisher 2. The images I'm using here on itch.io include variations of the fonts Baskerville and Pixelify Sans.

Please note:

  • Everything in this icon pack is offered as is – any part of it might change for any reason and I won't keep old versions of files around. You may use whichever version you have access to. (I will try and make it clear if and when big updates/modifications are done.)
  • Everything in this icon pack is offered for free – while I welcome any additional publicity for the project, you don't have to credit me or link to this page. Instead of paying me anything, please do something nice for yourself, the people in your life, or communities near you or around the world whose mission you support.

There are, however, a few simple rules to follow:
  1. Don't pretend or suggest you created this icon pack and don't try to resell it in full or in part.
  2. Don't use the contents of this page or any elements of the icon pack for the purposes of training generative AI.
  3. It should go without saying, but I'd like to make it explicit:
My communites don't tolerate intolerance! Nazis, TERFS and all other kinds of bigots can kindly fuck off and fix their hearts!

With all that said, I can't wait to see all the places this logo will go. Feel free to let me know what you end up doing with it ^^

Lastly, this being a human effort and one of community, I'm proud to declare that this page and everything available on it is both

The loose SVG and PNG files allow you to directly work with the „main“ Cc logo. For its variations see the ZIP files.

The ZIP files „SVG“ and „PNG“ each contain two folders, one with logos and  wordmark already combined, the other with just the logos, as well as the loose wordmark in their respective file formats.

The JPG file gives you an overview of the currently available 10 logo variations.
